SOODE

Annabel Soode is a Berlin-based vocal artist working at the intersection of art music and contemporary sound practices. She is currently studying classical singing with Prof. Anna Samuil at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin. From the 2026/2027 season, she will join the Dutch National Opera Studio.

Winner of the Estonian Young Singer Prize 2025 and Jane Carty Memorial Prize at the International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition, Annabel has performed across Europe in a wide-ranging repertoire spanning opera, concert, and music theatre. Her operatic roles include Donna Elvira in Mozart’s Don Giovanni at the Vanemuine Theatre and Lapak and Datel in Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen at the Estonian National Opera.

She has appeared in premieres of contemporary operatic works by composers such as Malle Maltis and Fabrizio Nastari, and collaborated with ensembles and institutions including the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, Estonian National Opera, Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, and Alekton Ensemble.

Her upcoming engagements include further performances at the Estonian National Opera as well as new projects in contemporary and interdisciplinary music theatre. Annabel is a versatile performer with a strong focus on Lied, contemporary repertoire, and cross-disciplinary artistic collaborations bridging tradition and innovation.
